Why should I invest in the stock market?

Don't let the above screen scare you.The brain in your head

is more powerful.

You hear people often say "It's a gamble!", "I don't know about that stuff.", "I have a 401K." and on and on when it comes to why they don't take direct charge of their financial future... particularly investing in the STOCK MARKET for and by themselves.

It's not that hard and if you have at least a 5th grade intelligence level, you can be a master of the stock market or at the very least know exactly where, what, when, how your money is being used in your 401K or your pension.

It's simple- TAKE THE TIME OUT OF YOUR DAY. Be curious, this is about you. You can sign up for any one of a multitude of stock companies out there. Services like -Ameritrade, Scott Trade, Etc. all have phone numbers where you can speak to an actual human and get the ball rolling. And you need as little as $100!

RELAX, you're not going to LOSE money. The fools that loose $$$ are buying stocks they know NOTHING about. They get a "Tip" from a "friend", that's how you lose. What you will do is utilize the "Buffet" rule and that is: You buy what you know and you hold.

You buy stocks that you personally know about. So,if you love Apple,DUH..then purchase Apple stock. If you like,say...Nike,you then buy Nike stock and then down the line, etc, etc, etc. It's called "Blue Chip"stocks.Stocks or Co.s that are essentially too big to fail. That's how you don't "LOSE MONEY". Sure, you're not going to make a killing in 1 day...but the stock market overwhelmingly rewards the turtle in this race...not the rabbit.

Will you have daily or weekly small losses with blue chip stocks? Sure...but over the course of 10,20,30,40 years...with blue chips stocks, you'll have more gains than loses and THAT'S A FACT!

You want to invest in the stock market so you-YOU can take charge of your financial future. You will be a direct owner in the stuff you use daily. And if you have money for beer, vacations, soda, movies and junk food...you have money to invest in the stock market.

It's safe, sure is there some risk? Yes, just as much risk as you getting on a plane (again pertains to blue chip stocks). When you look at what all the billionaires and millionaires are invested in...it's the stock market. Yes, I get it,you're not them...but the more you mimic what "They" do...the more you become financially successful in your own little way.

Side note: I'm not saying invest ONLY in the stock market. But the stock market should be a PART of your overall investment portfolio. And the "Investment portfolio" that you have or will have should be diversified. But that's another blog post.

Ok,good luck, you can do it!
